Nowadays, our lagoon is threatened with the arrival of thousands of tourists who come every day in places that are not conditioned for environmental care. If we add to this, the excessive use of motorboats, the rapid deterioration is imminent.
Another determining factor that harms the lagoon is the little knowledge we have of stromatolites, which causes them to die and, therefore, stop producing oxygen vital to the lagoon.
Being aware of this problem, all our tours are carried out by sailing boats, making use of motors only in very necessary and electrical cases as well as to avoid spills of fuel, oil or other elements that harm our natural environment.
